This model is not backward compatible. There is nothing you can do to make it ■■■■■■. Only the 80GB backward compatible model is the CECHE01 model, an obsolete package of Motor Storm and MGS4 but still available for purchase.
You can no longer play PS2 games on your PS3.

Sorry, the PS3 version of Cechk01 cannot play PS2 games. You've removed the hassle of supporting PS2 compatibility.
I also have ps3 version cechk01 ......
But at least we can play PS1 games like Metal Gear Solid!

There is nothing that you can make or buy. There is no software to update your system. No system with 2 USB ports can play PS2 games.
You can easily download and play the game. I have been doing this for years. I play all my PSone and PS2 games.
