CPR (Computer-based Patient Record)

A system of electronically controlled information about a person's health and care. It focuses on tasks directly related to patient care, unlike other health information systems that support the business processes of caregivers and payers (but can serve as a resource or support system for CPR). CPR completely replaces the paper medical record and must therefore comply with all clinical, legal and administrative requirements.
