My landlord installed a new landfill and I did some research on the internet and found that it did not turn off the dishwasher. How do I do this if it is already installed?
The opening is usually the same plastic as the dishwasher waste disposal drain. Because the design is pre-installed, you can't just turn it around to move parts. So proceed with caution.
You will need a large screwdriver, hammer, paint remover, sharp tongs and flashlight.
Place the screwdriver blade near the top of the cutout and tap it with the hammer. When done correctly, the knockout is loose at the top but sticks to the bottom. Use the Accept button on the paint can opener to pull the top of the injection hole towards the dishwasher until you grab it with the needle nose pliers. Use pliers to gently pull the extraction holes back and forth to fit the lower frame into the extraction holes until you release them.
If you do it right, there will be no waste in the trash can that can be thrown away. If you make a mistake, grab the trash with your nose pliers (please turn it off) and find the knockout.

Grab a hammer and 1/4 screwdriver and tap to the left. Remove the plastic space with the needle nose pliers. Place the tongs in the sink trash can and remove them.
