Is Primer Supposed To Look Streaky

The primer looks like a punch. Should I make a second coat of primer? 3

I'm an awesome painter doing my best here ... I've painted dark green skirts in gray. I had a primer in the middle and it was all worn out and uneven. Why? First, clean with a teaspoon. (It's on the wall). Do I need to apply another primer or is it possible for my paint to cover it? The color is premium plus satin enamel.

Help !! (A little push will help. I'm afraid I'll ruin my room).

Bone head description. I forgot to remove the primer. This is a latex primer for interior walls (cheap). (Do your best). I use one of these foam brushes.

The primer does not have to look good. The only purpose is to help the paint layer you are painting and completely cover the old paint without dripping or other uneven texture. Do you want your primer to cover any type of paint? If you are not sure what type of paint should be on your baseboard, consider using a suitable primer for each type. Try some of your paint, which you've already done, and wait for the two layers of paint to completely cover. Allow the second layer to dry well. And use a foam brush and spend more time painting. Buy a good quality or better brush and take good care of it. Brussels for oil paint, synthetic for latex. Brussels absorbs water with latex paint, which makes the brush much heavier to use. An expert painter can handle it, but you can't.

When painting with a brush, at least in the last stroke, you are painting with a new color. That way you won't get brush marks on the paint wherever you are. When you paint with a new color, the brush slides between the color already applied and the color you applied.

Painting is almost always a matter of preparing well and using the right materials. If the colors aren't right, you can't get a good paint job. They use a nice coat of paint, but a cheap primer. If I really wanted to save money, I'd do the opposite. If the primer does not work as intended, applying good paint will be a waste of time and money.

Which primer do you use? If it does not cover the current color type, there may be lines. I used Zinser 123 to repaint, it covers everything! Including my daughter's wall design department. He used pencils, markers and ink pens and all he needed was a sheet to cover them.

Also, try to use a good brush. Who has natural hair Do not load the brush more than 1/2 inch from the tip of the Brussels. First, make a thin, light layer. Then apply another coat when dry.

As you are already in the middle of this stop, let what you are doing dry and try another coat and let it dry. We'll see what that looks like later. Should be fine Remember to keep your layers thin. It is better to make 2 or 3 thin from fat.

I now! Run a fan around the room so you can clean up the mess and not feel dizzy when you're done! :>)

The primer gets streaked and is not well covered. You can test a small amount of paint with your finish (after the primer dries) to see the final result. If this is not your desired finish, send the first coat as soon as it dries, you can also send the second coat.

You're right, I thought it would be great when your house was finished!

What is surface lubrication? Sometimes even the primer does not stick well when the gloss is finished. Try light sanding with fine grit sand paper (100-120 grit).

Primer never looks like real paint. The color is well covered.

Baseboards are sometimes painted with oil paint, while walls are painted with latex. In this case, you need to make sure that the primer and paint you are using is also oil based. Otherwise, the ink will bubble and peel as it dries. (Can paint water based oil, but not water based oil)
