This morning I used a scary drain snake to clean my floor and when I tried to get it out it broke ... does anyone know how to get it out?
All you need is a drain rod or some other snake to get it out. It may be hard, but it's worth it!

First, do not use snakes in drains unless they are small enough. The canal is twice as strong, so it will not overflow. Second, there are several ways to clean the drain. Do you have a problem with hair down the groove?
To open the gutter, you will need a needle or gutter wrench. Then go loose and grab a bottle of pipe beater (see link below). Place the tip of the needle or drain leach handle in the groove where you see the cross. Turn the drain and pull it out. If something is causing a slow drain, it will go down the drain.

Then clean and make sure everything is dry. Take the dough and cut a ball half the size of a golf ball and roll it with a 67-inch pencil. Wrap this putty around the edge of the groove and replace. If you narrow it all the way, there may be a seal under the groove around it. If it doesn't come out everywhere, take it off. This is your seal. If you don't close it properly, it can go down the stairs, into the attic, or under the bathtub. If you have problems with hair loss, get used to it and always keep a bandage and plumber's wrench under the sink.
