What is the standard size we drill in an open pit? 3

I've had my ears pierced for years and now they're transparent (not sure which size is 18 or 20). I wanted to wear 16 different sized earrings ... I could use them but they hurt so much that I decided to take them off. I wanted to know if my ears should be pierced with smaller diameters so that I could use them later, or if they were safe to wear and let them stretch. Any suggestions are welcome!

This is usually what most people rate (let them grow). There will be some discomfort for a few days, but if you keep it clean and take care of it (as you did the first time), you'll be fine. If you want to combine, you can probably do it in about two months.

Edit: As a second answer ... Cartilage piercing requires treatment and usually takes longer to heal. Also, the size of the piercing is not always 20. There were 16 when I bought them. I thought they could go up to 10, but they were fine for that size. They are usually pierced with calibrated needles, such as the abdomen, labret, etc.
